This June, join thousands of people across the UK, who will be doing something a little bit wild every day.
The Wildlife Trusts are challenging us all to join in with their 30 Days Wild Campaign and to feel happier, healthier and more connected to nature by doing something wild every day throughout June. We all know the benefit of spending time outside and getting close to nature. In today’s busy world, we sometimes need that extra reminder to stop and appreciate the natural world around us.

Taking part is simple. Carry out a Random Act of Wildness every day, for 30 days. Make a daisy chain. Explore your local woods. Eat your lunch outside. Play pooh sticks with your friends. Go on a wildlife treasure hunt. Make a den. There are no giving things up for this campaign. It’s all about getting outside, having fun and making time to connect with nature.
No matter where you are in the UK, your Wildlife Trust is protecting and standing up for wildlife and wild places in your area. The Wildlife Trusts believe that everyone deserves to live in a wildlife-rich world, and everyone should have the opportunity to experience wildlife and wild places in their daily lives. They care passionately about wildlife and conserving our natural heritage, and care for 2,300 diverse and beautiful nature reserves, from remote woods and rivers to inner city nature parks. Most people live within a few miles of one of these beautiful sites so why not visit a couple of them as your Random Acts of Wildness?
You can sign up to take part in 30 Days Wild 2018 here either as an individual, workplace or school. You’ll receive a pack of wild goodies plus lots of ideas to help you go wild. For even more inspiration you can also download the 30 Days Wild App. Make sure you share all your wild adventures with everyone else taking #30DaysWild.

It’ll be so lovely knowing that you guys are joining in over there in the US. Please share what you do with us – we’d love to compare your wild life with ours. Perhaps you could write a 30 Days Wild US Style post for us!!!
This is such a great idea to get kids outside and involved in nature. Shame that we’re heading into winter soon (I’m in Australia) but still encouraging my kids to be outside as much as possible exploring.
It’s a fab campaign – it’d be brilliant to have an international version so we could get a peek at each others nature π
What a great idea. I think we take nature for granted so it is great to see people doing something to preserve it.
It’s a lovely campaign to join in with and I agree people do take our nature for granted π
What a great idea. I won’t be taking part this year (too busy having a baby!) but love the premise so will look out for it next year:) x
How lovely – I think having a baby probably qualifies as being a bit wild anyway! Wishing you all the best π
This sounds right up our street! I’m off to check out the app right now!
It’s brilliant fun. the kids and I have joined in for a few years now – we all love it π
We love getting outdoors and this sounds like a great way to encourage us to do it every day. I will definitely be downloading the app for some inspiration xx
My kids love the app and it definitely helps me come up with ideas!
This is a lovely idea Iβve just had to let my sister know about the app as she loves being around nature x
That’s brilliant Charley, she’ll definitely love it π
This is a good idea, we love getting out and about with the kids. I need to show my girls how to make a daisy chain!
Daisy chains should be top of the list of simple childhood pleasures I think Stephanie π 30 Days Wild really is a fun campaign to join in with the kids π
I love this! My little bear is a nature boy for sure, he always wants to be outside so I think we might do this and try find new trails to go on or explore some woods.
It’s such a fun campaign Jordanne – my kids love taking part π
